Angela Garcia

Director Angela Garcia joined the West Valley Water District (WVWD) Board of Directors in January of 2022. As the representative for Division 1, she serves ratepayers in Fontana, Bloomington, as well as portions of unincorporated San Bernardino County and Jurupa Valley in Riverside County.
In addition to her duties as a WVWD director, Garcia serves on the South Coast Air Quality Management District’s Environmental Justice Advisory Group and Inter-Agency Task Force as an engineering geologist for the State of California Environmental Protection Agency (Cal EPA)- Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC). At DTSC, she is an engineering geologist by profession and supervises a group of project managers responsible for investigating and remediating contaminated properties.
Director Garcia holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in geology with an emphasis in environmental hydrogeology from California State University Fullerton and California State University Los Angeles respectively.
Director Garcia is passionate about improving water reliability, water conservation and education throughout the district. Through her board director position, she works to ensure that WVWD maintains its mission to provide ratepayers with clean, safe and reliable water.
