Production

Production manages the operation of WVWD’s water sources, including pump stations, reservoirs and wells. 

To reliably meet the high demand of water from our 98,000 residents, our production department helps to maintain and operate 25 reservoirs, 17 groundwater wells and 12 booster pump stations. The production department also operates and maintains WVWD’s fleet of emergency standby power generators that keep water service operational during power outages. Additionally, the department also conducts the construction, installation, testing, calibration, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and process control instrumentation systems across our water infrastructure system.
